An AN-26 military plane crashed near Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine at 2050 local time on September 25, the Independent Ukrainian News agency reported. At least 25 people were confirmed dead and two were seriously injured. The search is still on for other possible survivors, The Independent news agency said, citing The official TELEGRAM account of Ukrainian President Viktor Zelenski. In addition to the crew, there were also cadets from the Kharkiv Air Force Academy in Ukraine.
