Many CISSSO employees infected

According to Thursday’s report, no less than 101 CISSSO employees are currently suffering from COVID-19, about fifteen more than two days earlier. This represents almost a quarter of all active cases in the region.

In addition to these 101 cases of employees infected with the virus, the CISSSO has 26 others who are on preventive withdrawal with isolation instructions, either because they are awaiting their result in a screening test, or because that they have been in close contact with a confirmed case.

The  CISSSO also indicated, Thursday, to have carried out an average of 512 tests for the virus per day, during the previous seven days.

Vaccination

While ministerial data released Thursday suggests that a pause has been observed in vaccination against COVID-19 in the region, the CISSSO assures that this is not the case and that there is now a total of 3,888 doses that were administered, 251 more than what was reported Wednesday.
